Proud Jenesist 2.0 (part 3)

(Thank you for sticking till part three and if you did, you deserve a big through the computer hug from me) (BIG HUG)

DAY 6

First to be up and was texting people explains the picture because i sent the photo to someone i can't remember who. But we all got up by 8pm got ready for breakfast!

Grandpa cooked fried potatoes. And we were supposed to eat it with either salt or sugar. Turned put nicer than I expected.

The we had to leave to meet up with the other kyoto people. So group photo first cause grandma and grandpa weren't going to send us off. :(

Was really upset when we left because they both were super good host and when she come out to say goodbye and tell us to takecare of ourselves, I was really touched and thankful to have spent two days with them.

Headed to the last temple. I dont know what it's called but it's made entirely of gold.

And while we were all amazed, I heard someone shouted my name across and I was just like who is that how can I possibly meet anyone in Japan. Turned out to be Wayne and Ignatius. The world is so small, what are the chances we'll meet them tho. But then again it's a tourist area so maybe that's why.

The night before kokoro brought us to their arcade for neoprints. I'm shocked at how cheap their neoprints are! Singapore charges three times their prices to be honest it's crazy. And theirs are super pretty, it makes us all look ten times better hahah

Before we headed back to the gathering place, they brought us to a mall for last minute shopping.

Muji loots. All these for only $5, I was just taking everything off the shelves.

And we were the latest to arrive oh wells, shopping first anyways. Changed into the traditional costume and joined the others for rehearsal. We were supposed to put up a farewell dance or something I don't really know but we did it anyway.

So thankful for their family for being amazing hosts. We did have communication problems but their hospitality and warm hearts made me felt so welcomed. I definitely miss them and hanging out with their family, having dinner together, talking about everything. I wish them great health and education. Till we meet again next time.

Was also super excited to be reunited with Azra!!!

Some reflection thing that made all of us irritated as heck.

Dinner with Jerene (the others obviously preferred food to photos. All is good)

Free time to roam around at night! We were doing speed shopping cause we all the stores were starting to close at 8 plus. The only down side...
That's vanilla frap from starbucks. Tasted like vanilla milkshake.

See, all the shops closing already. I really want to be back in Japan because shopping there is fun although it isn't really cheaper.

OF COURSE WE NEED THE NEOPRINTS HOW CAN WE GO ALL THE WAY TO JAPAN AND NOT PLAY WITH NEOPRINTS. And please look at their effort, they provide costumes. Don't worry because the costumes are super clean (i smelt it before wearing it cause i was worry too haha)

DAY 7
Second last day, last night.

Breakfast spread

Formal day means white blouse and bandage skirt and flats boring!

Shared a room with nadirah and jerene. Our room was in a complete mess. Scroll down to see. I do miss packing and whining about how the luggage is too small!

Lunch was alright!

All the uniqlo PJ pants. Why didn't i get ten more?! They were all super cheap like $6 per pair for the long ones cause on sale then the three quarters were $11. SG why you raise the price till rocket high?!

I told u... We couldn't even walk around the room properly without tripping over things

After awhile we all gathered back for presentation

Why her face like that i also don't know but this picture super priceless i swear

and the last dinner of the trip! After that, we travelled to Harajuku for shopping, so there were 12 of us.

Their crepes were all so elaborated and of course very delicious.

We got banana tiramisu and custard cream. Custard is always better than whipped. ALWAYS

The whole trip to and fro from harajuku was a complete mess. We got lost on the way there, got lost on the way back because the train lines were very confusing. There were very nice individuals who offered to help us even without us asking! Japanese are all so nice and helpful and polite.

We passed curfew by 40 mins because of all the train lines confusion and getting lost and bad time management. Got back to the hotel and we got scolded badly, i don't eve want to talk about this because the whole being late situation got out of hand and overexaggerated (i personally feel)
I don't even know why so much attention was emphasised no this. Ok maybe safety and responsibilty issues but still it got us all very irritated and disappointed and ruined the rest of the trip.

We were hanging out and talking at each other's room about the whole issue thing. Then went back to sleep. I didn't sleep till 4am lol. Last night the worst night but still the best night.

4am sky in japan. The hell it's so bright!

DAY 8
Last day.

I left this paper bag in the hotel before i left. Hi paper bag that costed a dollar thank you or helping me through the trip and nights without my luggage and not tearing.

Travelled to the airport and and and ALL THE TOKYO BANANAS!!!! AND STRAWBERRY CAKE!!!

On the bus we got scolded and told off again for our 'crime' wtf. I don't know but maybe we stole or killed someone like some invisible person. We also told our pt about it immediately cause we felt it's better for her to know from us than for the information to come as a shock to her. We just wanted her to hear our side of story first and our reasons.

Can't wait to get back to SG after the whole incident thing really.

Yamunah and Vienna gave us goodies from hokkaido!

What happened to sharon in the shade gang!

And ignatius was super funny he went into hibernation right after we left.

and after forever and waiting for the luggages!

Ok, here comes the long thank you message.
So thankful to be selected to travel with azra and becoming closer through the trip! I can't be more grateful to be part of this exchange because i definitely learnt a lot and had a lot of fun, made new friends, new experiences. I can't wait to travel back there again. Oh japan i miss everything about the country.

Goodies!!! I spent so much o food lol!

Duty free of course i need to get my perfume.

And thank you for sticking through three long and boring post about my japan trip! I know the blog layout is so hideous, i'm doing something about it! See you in the next post.
