Happy Birthday Buddy

Hey Buddy,
Happy 2nd Birthday. This also means you are 14 human years old now. Oh dear, you're catching up with my age, please slow down.

I'm very thankful and  blessed to have you joined the family two decembers ago. When we first saw you at the pet farm (damn it, kill me now I also won't go pet farm) but yes you were this gentle puppy that was so tame and adorable and soft. The moment we sat on one of our palms, that was it, love at first sight. We bought you right away.

I often questioned myself there after if we made the right decision. I was of course still afraid of dogs and afraid of you lol. But I'm sure we made the right decision. ALTHOUGH at times I just want to kill you and chop you into ten pieces and throw you out of the window because you make the house in a mess by pooping and peeing everywhere you little bastard.

But ok you very cute i forgive you.

Thank you fluff ball for loving us so unconditionally. For being unconditional, that's you. Humans are conditional, so i'm happy to have you. I can look my ugliest and my worst and you'll still come up to give kisses on my face. I come home with the worst mood but you never, never fail to greet me at the gate.

"Sometimes, the greatest lessons come from the most unexpected sources"

"If you want lessons in unconditional love, don't look up at roles models, simply look down. Two exemplary role models for unconditional love generally stand at knee level - Kids and Dogs"
How true.

Of course there will be days i wished we never had you. Because with you around, I can't do things i love, we can't do things freely without putting you in consideration. When we travel, who's there to look out for you. When i'm out the whole day, who's there to play with you? I guess things like these eventually solve by themselves over time because we get used to it.

I really said everything i wanna say so many times. How you're an absolute joy and blessing to our lives and i won't want my first dog to be any other than you. You're irreplaceable and I definitely love you more than anything else in the world.

Grow up healthily and happily. I can't wait to spend ten and twenty more years with you. <3

Here's the faces of our blessing

I hope everyone else loves you as much as we do. Thank you for coming into our lives. To more adventures together alright? Love you to the moon and back cutie.

No, your eyes aren't playing a trick on you

The Trick Eye museum turns 2D paintings to 3D images through the use of optical illusions. The first museum that I learnt about was the one in Korea. And, last year I was super lucky to be able to travel to Korea, Jeju and we of course took the time to visit the trick eye musuem!

I feel the first difference between both museum, definitely the size. Korea's one is huge like really. It's very spacious and empty too so very little people in the background. Not that singapore's one is small because it's actually bigger than i expected. Plus SG have two trick eye. The other one is called Alive museum i think, located at suntec. Another difference is that the one in korea, it's really all just 2d paintings on the walls. But here, we have a mixture of 2d and 3d interactions.
(Entrance ticket price too...)

Regular tickets are $25 each.
We learnt about the 50% opening discount thing and was so excited cause it's 50% and we can't give it a miss. So after the day i was back from japan, I met SY and we visited the place. We planned to meet really early because papers and news showed the crazy queues and long waiting times. We of course wanted to avoid all those. We already had to wait for about 15 mins even though we were really early!

I personally thought the queuing outside was fine actually. I mean it's better than a lot of people gathering around and jamming up the place. So they limit the number of people that could enter at once.

Ok, I'll just let the pictures do the talking. They are pretty much self-explanatory.

We all no shame one, just sprawl on the floor. lol

This is definitely one of my personal favourite. I did not add filter or whatsoever, it's the lightings they used that gave this dreamy effect. Super cool right!

We kinda refused to get out cause it was so fun taking pictures, so the both of us went two rounds. (Maximising the amount paid) (True singaporean). I want to visit the Alive museum too but then again it's $25 and I don't think it's worth that high a price.

After that, we had to get lunch and it was a last minute to visit Stranger's Reunion. My first time visiting that place so i was quite excited. I mean people have been raving about the place and their food (especially the waffles) like crazy, i was super hyped to go try it myself. It's located about 5-10 minutes walk away from outram park Mrt.

(Please read Renae's blog for like a full review about the place!)

Day out with the BFF always great. She's in China for 7 days, I can't wait for her to be back so we can visit cafes and go shopping! See you soon m'dear! <3
